05 - Lapsang Souchong
It is said that the signature smoky flavor of Lapsang Souchong was created by accident long ago when a tea farmer, in a hurry to finish a batch of tea, used pine smoke to dry the leaves. It has been a popular sensation ever since with special smoking sheds built near the tea farms specifically for this purpose.
Smoked Chinese Black Tea
HOW TO STEEP:
Steep 2 teaspoon of tea in 8oz of 200°F water for 3 minutes, longer if adding milk and/or sweetener.
